Hey, I’m Austin, a young actor that has been amazed by television since I was just eight months old! I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida when I was one. By eighteen months of age I had developed a love for stage shows. When I watched them I was captivated and would sit through an entire show without moving a muscle. By the time I was three I was so fascinated with the arts that I would watch any show or movie. To overcome my shy personality, my mom sent me to my first acting class when I was five. To this day I’m still taking classes and have no plans to stop. I take classes all over Florida, and even as far away as New York City. To become even more involved in the entertainment industry, over the past few years I’ve even taken voice lessons and an occasional dance class.
At the age of nine, my professional career began as I landed the role of Chip in Beauty and the Beast at the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre. Soon I became involved in multiple other professional productions including performances at the Asolo Theatre in the Plexiglass Slipper and as Mamillius in a Winters Tale. I have recently added Cosimo de Medici in The Life of Galileo to my resume.
To further develop my skills as an actor, I’ve done voice over work for the Ringling School of Art and Design.Last year I worked on a short film called Gone to the Moon, in which I landed the lead role.
Recently I landed a leading role as James in the Feature film Ticking Clock opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. and Neal McDonough. It was a great role with amazing actors and an awesome director. Look for it some time in 2010.
I hope you enjoy my web site; I’m off to continue pursuing my career as an actor and to look for my next role! |
